Whisky Train has been performing their style of live rock and roll on the Maryland scene since their formation in late 2002, all-the-while building a strong and loyal following of devoted fans—The Rail Rockers!  The group prides itself on its utmost professionalism and ability to cover a diverse set of musical styles, refusing to be pigeonholed into a specific-genre band.  At a Whisky Train show you can expect to hear a little bit of everything from classic rock, hard rock, 80's favorites, and even some original tunes—all performed with Whisky Train's own special touch!  We like to just call it "Party Rock."

Whisky Train has had the distinct honor of opening up for many national acts, including Robin Trower, Roomful of Blues, Eddie Money, Kix, LA Guns, and UFO.  Whisky Train performs regularly throughout the area at Maryland's best live music rooms, and have also had the opportunity to play several big-name attractions such as Rams Head Live!, HonFest, Edgestock Music Festival, PowerPlant Live!, The Purple Moose (in Ocean City), the Towsontowne Festival, and the 2005 National Beach Volleyball Tournament (sponsored by Toyota and 100.7 The Bay)—just to name a few!  The band performs regularly at private events, as well.

Also, the group is officially-sponsored by Natty Boh Gear.  This relationship provides mutual promotion for the band and the beer/merchandise, and is spreading the word to a large audience in the Baltimore area, hoping to make "Natty Boh" and Whisky Train household names that go hand in hand.  The band also hosts occasional "Natty Boh" promotional nights at venues throughout the area.

While the band prides itself on its ability to cover good-time party music, it is equally proud of its own material, 13 songs of which were released on the band’s debut CD, Automatic Sin.  The CD is for sale at all shows and has been also selling internationally through numerous major Internet retailers (ITunes, CD Baby, and Amazon).  Visit our merchandise page to order your copy now!.
